Referral, Admissions and Fees
All weight management clients must have the approval of their pediatrician or family physician.

Fee for Service
The cost for the ten-week Healthy You class, clinic assessment and Aftercare support group is $350. You may apply for a scholarship or have your fees adjusted based on your ability to pay. The mental health evaluation is $100. CHKD can bill most insurance plans for the mental health component. You are responsible for the mental health co-pay. If you do not have insurance to cover the mental health service, you may have your fee adjusted based on ability to pay.
Payment must be made prior to the first class or appointment. All fees are non-refundable. Any special arrangements for payment must be made prior to enrollment. Contact Weight Management Program Manager, Babs Benson, RN at (757) 668-7035 or barbara.benson@chkd.org for more information.
Psychotherapy group participation as well as family and/or individual therapy sessions are an additional charge and may be covered by insurance.
