During the sweltering days of August, you can cool down and help the kids at CHKD by stopping by the Norfolk or participating Virginia Beach franchise of Rita’s Water Ice, an old-fashioned-feeling ice cream parlor that specializes in Italian ice frozen custard. This September, Six Flags Friends, the philanthropic arm of Six Flags Inc., and Cure Kids Cancer will join forces to benefit Childhood Cancer. "A Walk In The Park" will take place in 12 Six Flags locations neighborhoods across the United States are encouraged to join forces and take strides to help children suffering from cancer. The Ian W.
