CHKD's sports medicine experts treat lots of concussions during football season. Symptoms of concussion include confusion, memory loss, slurred speech, headache, vision disturbances, loss of balance, nausea, dizziness and difficulty concentrating. If a child shows any of these symptoms after a blow to the head, seek medical attention immediately.
